Summary Of Results:

Compiled 19 March 2003.

The raw results of this will be made available to all Typewriter Collector Newsletters some time in the fall of 2003. Editors can choose
how they wish to present the information (i.e., loose insert, article with data, data with brief explanation, data with no article, ...)

Since relaunching the effort to refine Oliver Typewriter Production information and the information of its licenses — Canadian Oliver, Stolzenberg, Fiver, Revilo, Courier, Jacobi and possibly others — as well as its descendent — The British Oliver Typewriter Company — 320 machines have been recorded from various sources — including survey responses, archived email correspondence, webpage and published mentions, eBay auction listings and contemporary documents.

Of those machines recorded: 2 are No. 1, 32 are No. 2, 75 are No. 3, 2 are No. 4, 84 are No. 5, 6 are No. 6, 11 are No. 7, 74 are No. 9, 1 is a No. L-10. 2 is a No. 10, 13 are No. 11, 1 is a No. 12, 1 is a No. L-12, 3 are No. 15, 1 is a No. 21, 1 is a Revilo, 1 is a Stolzenberg, 1 is a Jacobi, 1 is a Canadian Oliver, and 7 various Oliver Portables. No Model Nos. 8, 16 and 20 or Fivers have been recorded.
